Canyon X Tours
Canyon X is a photographer’s paradise, but the casual visitor will enjoy it, too.
Overland Canyon Tours also provides hiking and photography tours to Canyon X, a very narrow slot canyon that is more than 180 feet deep. More remote and less visited than Upper Antelope Canyon, it is about a 30–45 minute drive from Page. A short but steep, rocky path leads to the canyon entrance.
All tours depart from the 48 South Lake Powell Boulevard (same building as the Thunderbird Art Gallery).

Canyon “X” Photographer’s Tour (5–6 hours)
- Departure time: 7 am (summer) 8 am (winter)*
- Cost: Adults (13 and up), $160 (not recommended for children)
- What is provided: Lunch and water; please note any food allergies
- What you should bring: A quality camera, tripod, cable release, backpack, sturdy hiking shoes or boots
Canyon “X” Casual Adventure Hiking Tour (4 hours)
- Departure time: 7 am or 8 am depending on the month
- Cost: Adults and children ages 8–12, $120
- Minimum: Four adults
- What is provided: Water
- What you should bring: Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
Cameras are okay; tripods are not permitted. This tour is not offered during the hot summer months.
Combination Canyon “X” Casual Adventure Hiking Tour & Upper Antelope Canyon (5 hours)
- Departure time: 7 am (summer) 8 am (winter)*
- Cost: Adults and children ages 8–12, $150
- Minimum: Two adults
- What is provided: Water
- What you should bring: Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
