Colorado River Rafting Trips
Experience 15 miles of one of the most dramatic stretches of river in the American West
These float trips are perfect for those who want to experience the majestic canyons of the Colorado River without the rapids. Your trip begins with a ride down the 2-mile-long access tunnel for the Glen Canyon Dam. At river level, with the dam soaring 583 feet above, you will board a comfortable raft for your journey downstream.
Your experienced guide will tell the story of the area’s geology, ecology, and history, as well as the river’s modern role in the Southwest’s water and power delivery system. You’ll see ancient petroglyphs and have the opportunity to wade in the cold, clear river. Your trip ends at historic Lees Ferry, gateway to the Grand Canyon, where you will board a luxury motor coach or van for the short ride back to Page. Lifejackets are optional for adults but not for children.
Choose from half day (motorized pontoon) or full-day (oar-powered raft) options. All trips meet at Colorado River Discovery’s headquarters at 130 Sixth Avenue in Page.
